Construction Project Manager - Retail & Restaurant

Location: Toronto, ON

Lead Commercial Projects That Matter.

BDN Construction is a GTA-based commercial contractor delivering retail and restaurant projects across Ontario. We lead with integrity, communicate with openness, and tackle every challenge with smart, solution-driven thinking.

We're looking for a Construction Project Manager to manage retail and restaurant projects up to $10M. If you're organized, client-focused, and ready to own project delivery from planning to completion - we want to hear from you.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead retail and restaurant commercial projects from planning to execution
  • Oversee subcontractors and maintain financial and schedule controls
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams to deliver high-quality results
    • Develop and implement project plans
  • - scope, schedule, and budget
  • Work with Procore for project management and financial tracking
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients and subcontractors to ensure alignment
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of project management experience in restaurant and retail construction
  • Proficiency with Procore and construction management systems
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proven ability to handle high-value projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong decision-making skills under pressure
  • In-depth knowledge of construction safety standards
  • Ability to negotiate and manage contract terms with clients and subcontractors

Preferred:

  • PMP certification (or equivalent)
  • Experience with retail and/or restaurant projects
