Brand Leader

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Brand Leader is responsible for championing the brand assigned, working to develop and drive preference with our customers. Embrace the role of customer advocate ensuring all brand/marketing activity will be customer driven. Lead strategic thinking, brand building and the translation of the brand strategy across packaging, marketing and merchandising tactics. Responsible for working with the cross-functional teams in directing the development of the long-term portfolio strategies of the brands. Demonstrate opportunity Corporate Brand Growth. Participate in brand innovation development, as part of as brand guardianship.

Responsibilities

A- LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

  • Direct development of long-term vision, business planning and strategies and provides strategic decision support and business advices to the senior management team in order to improve and optimize the business unit performance
  • Support the President and Chief Operating Officer with reports, analysis and proposed scenarios to enable informed and sound decision-making
  • Lead brand-building processes, ensuring Corporate Brand Team’s efforts are aligned with brand strategy
  • Ensure brand strategy is translated into packaging, marketing and purchasing and procurement tactics, working collaboratively with Sales as well as Purchasing and management team and outside agency partners as necessary
  • Educate and communicate to cross-functional teams within and outside of Corporate Brands the Corporate Brand vision, mission, strategies, align Corporate Brand Vision
  • Lead and manage the operations and marketing teams, ensuring high quality standards, performance and outputs and ensures appropriate training and development to raise their understanding of business unit management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative/new Corporate Brand products within assigned brands, based on customer insights, needs identification and brand architecture

B- OPERATIONS AND ADMINISTRATION

  • Lead the execution of marketing tactics, ensuring Corporate Brand team’s efforts are aligned with our goals and objectives for the given year by aligning brand strategy with marketing execution, partnering cross-functional team to ensure alignment as to execution strategy
  • Drive Corporate Brand growth (sales, volume, profits) by applying knowledge of competitive set, consumer trends and business needs, both short and long term
  • Proactively engage with Franchisees by being an excellent resource and providing coaching and consultation on business needs in an effort to improve operations and drive sales
  • Develop and manage product forecasts including analyzing trends and making recommendations on forecast changes
  • Identify and implement in partnership with key cross functional groups cost savings and new product improvement opportunities
  • Follow company protocol and routing for new products, packaging designs, forecasting, etc
  • Review all department budget and financials to ensure we are meeting company set objectives

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, or a related field
  • Experience in managing franchisee/ franchisor relationship at a senior level
  • Brand building, marketing and brand management expertise
  • Consumer targeting and equity development exposure
  • Experience in a multi-unit retail or restaurant environment preferred
  • Has lead social media initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently, handle multiple tasks assignments in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to build productive cross-functional relationships to support the strategic goals of the organization
