Overview

We are seeking a professional and personable Front Office Manager to oversee the front desk operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, managing daily front desk activities, and ensuring smooth communication between guests and staff. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued to serve our diverse clientele effectively.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide outstanding customer service throughout their stay
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently using multi-line phone systems
  • Handle guest inquiries, reservations, and special requests with professionalism and courtesy
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and billing details
  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Oversee front desk staff, providing training and support as needed
  • Uphold high standards of phone etiquette and communication protocols
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling, reporting, and inventory management
  • Address guest concerns promptly and resolve issues to ensure positive experiences
  • Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming at all times

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hotel or hospitality front desk operations preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent communication skills, including proficiency in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities is a plus
  • Experience with multi-line phone systems and guest management software preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, guest services, and hospitality standards highly desirable
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
