Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Food and Beverage Attendant to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest service while efficiently managing food and beverage operations. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will ensure every guest has a memorable experience, whether they’re enjoying a quick snack or a full meal. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and hospitality operations in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
  • Drive thru, Front Counter or back end food prep
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and correct processing
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all service areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed to ensure timely service
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
  • Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods

Skills

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS for order processing and cashiering functions
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices within the food industry
  • Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and inventory checks
  • Experience with food preparation, serving, and supporting kitchen operations is preferred
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
  • Hospitality-oriented mindset with a focus on guest services and positive interactions
