Senior Construction Site Superintendent

Location: Metro Vancouver, BC
Salary: $125,000–$160,000 per year
Job Type: Full-time

About the Role

We’re seeking a Senior Construction Site Superintendent to lead commercial and hotel renovation projects throughout Metro Vancouver.
You’ll manage all on-site operations — coordinating trades, maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You’ll work closely with project managers, coordinators, and clients while fostering strong relationships with designers, architects, and subcontractors.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage all site activities and subcontractors
  • Oversee schedules, budgets, and progress to ensure project goals are met
  • Enforce safety, quality, and efficiency standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, designers, and architects
  • Collaborate with project managers to solve problems and optimize workflow
  • Use MS Project, MS Teams, and other digital tools to track performance
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity

What You Bring

  • 5+ years as a Site or Assistant Site Supervisor (10+ preferred)
  • Background in trades such as carpentry, painting, or concrete work
  • Proficiency with project software (MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, etc.)
  • Strong organization, planning, and leadership skills
  • Confident communicator and decisive problem solver
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to teamwork and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • 5+ years construction experience
  • currently working/residing in Metro Vancouver
  • Permanent resident or Canadian Citizen
  • Valid BC driver’s licence, vehicle, and basic tools
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong math and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Education in building science or related field an asset
  • Openness to work out of town for several months at a time
