Summary

We are seeking Food Service Associate’s (Meal Preparation & Customer Service/ Occasional Deliveries) as well as Experienced Kitchen Staff to join our team at Chef on the Run in Victoria.

Responsibilities for Part Time Food Service Associate/Driver

  • Assist in food preparation and handling to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service both in-store and during delivery.
  • Support the serving of meals and maintain cleanliness in food service areas.
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience with food handling and preparation preferred.

Responsibilities for Part Time Kitchen Staff/Cook

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes using established recipes ensuring attention to detail
  • Collaborate with the management team.
  • Implement and maintain sanitation practices and procedures to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Respond to feedback from leadership team to make improvements to dishes to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • You must live in Victoria and able to work in Canada.
  • We do not have a LMIA program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen environment,
  • Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
  • Available Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) Daytime shifts only (no nights)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members

Pay: $18.25-$28.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
