Job Description
We’re looking for a Food Service Director who is passionate about great food, great people, and creating a dining experience that becomes a meaningful part of school life. In this onsite leadership role, you’ll oversee the full food program at a respected educational institution, bringing creativity, operational excellence, and a hands on leadership style to a vibrant campus community.
This role is ideal for someone who loves building teams, enjoys being part of a school environment, and knows how to balance fun, flavour, and flawless execution.

Job Responsibilities
What You’ll Do
Lead the food service team to deliver consistently delicious meals and warm, welcoming service- Design fresh, engaging menus and help market them in ways that get students excited about what’s on the line
- Bring company food, service, and safety programs to life every day
- Grow the catering program for school events, celebrations, and special occasions
- Oversee production, merchandising, quality control, labour management, scheduling, staffing, and training
- Coach and develop your team using Aramark’s Service Excellence platform
- Identify talent early and support team members in their growth and development
- Maintain top tier sanitation and food safety standards across all operations
- Build and manage budgets, forecasts, and business plans
- Monitor financial performance to meet company and client goals
- Ensure accurate, timely reporting and maintain records that meet Aramark and regulatory requirements
- Support Marketing and HR initiatives that enhance the dining experience and team culture
- Champion Aramark’s policies, procedures, and Health & Safety standards
Qualifications
What You Bring
A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (an asset)- 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a similar operation (an asset)
- Strong leadership and organizational skills — you know how to bring out the best in a team
- Solid analytical, planning, and financial management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with clients, customers, colleagues, and staff
