Overview

We are a specialist clinic located at the Gateway Complex in Abbotsford.

Job description

What we are offering you (after completion of a 90 day probationary period):

  • Part-time, (16-24 hours/wk), 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday
  • Compensation: $19.5 - 21.5/hour
  • Health Savings Account ($750/year)
  • Paid vacation per year (accrued based on hours worked)
  • Potential to switch to Full-time

Your duties will include:

  • answering patient calls/inquiries
  • scheduling appointments
  • processing referrals
  • updating and maintaining patient charts
  • initial check-in of patients and checking vitals
  • payment processing
  • maintaining examination rooms
  • maintaining supplies

You must possess the following:

  • Highschool graduation diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from a recognized Medical Office Assistant Certificate program (preferred)
  • A positive attitude

Required skills:

  • Fluency in English
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to learn and use our EMR
  • Ability to keyboard 40 w.p.m.
  • Strong sense of organization
