JOB SUMMARY

  • Collect, assemble and pack painted and other component parts according to requirements
  • Inspect for external defect and assure the completeness of the order assembled.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Works under normal supervision
  • Works from detailed oral or written instructions; shop orders, detail assembly drawings, paint lists
  • Responsible for the quality and quantity of the assigned work
  • Required to complete all reporting functions for the assigned work orders
  • Required to follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Required to comply with all quality processes and documentation requirements

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

  • Hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches, scales, portable power tools, tape guns, nail guns, etc.
  • Measuring devices such as measuring tapes, Vernier, scales, etc.

SCOPE OF WORK & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Required to assemble and/or pack all types of product.
  • Check all parts for defects and report any shortages and defects.
  • Assist others in the performance of similar tasks.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Basic computer skills
  • Good written/oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Bending, reaching, lifting 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to lift or move various sizes and weights of products

COMPENSATION

  • Day Shift: 7:00am-3:00pm Monday To Friday
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:30pm-1:30am Monday To Thursday
  • Starting Wage: $24.14/hr
  • $1.00/hr Shift Premium for afternoons
  • Overtime paid after 40 hrs
  • Paid Weekly
