Does Appletree Medical Group allow for flexible working hours? Or are the hours set?
Yes the hours are fairly flexible, but you'll be called in so often it's not even worth it.
I worked as a Telemedicine Assistant at Appletree for six unhappy months. I can confidently say that management at this company is as incompetent as it is oppressive. Just when my benefits were about to kick in and as I was trying to rally co-workers around the idea of unionizing , they dismissed me 'without cause'. There was no warning, there was no notice, there was no explanation. After six months of loyal and whole hearted work, they tossed me aside just because I was trying to galvanize the workers into collectively bargaining for the pay they deserve.
I have a better paying PA position now but I would be remiss if I didn't speak out about how fundamentally toxic this company is from the top down, excepting the workers. The MAs especially deserve so much more. I would strongly advise that you look elsewhere for employment in health care.
Basic interview questions such as provide one example of you resolved a customer dispute.
What advice would you give the CEO of Appletree Medical Group about how to improve the company?
Treat you workers with respect and care for them the way you care for your money.
