Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cabinet Maker to join our dynamic construction and woodworking team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting custom cabinets and furniture pieces with precision, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Your expertise will contribute to transforming client visions into beautifully finished products, enhancing both residential and commercial spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about woodworking, craftsmanship, and construction to showcase their talents in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide cabinet construction and assembly.
  • Cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials using hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and woodworking equipment.
  • Install cabinets securely in various settings, ensuring proper alignment and finish.
  • Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or furniture pieces to bring them back to their original condition or improve their appearance.
  • Apply finishing techniques such as sanding, staining, painting, or sealing to achieve a polished look.
  • Measure accurately for precise cuts and fitting; perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky materials safely.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople on-site to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.

Experience

  • Proven experience in cabinetry, woodworking, or carpentry within construction or manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings essential for accurate fabrication.
  • Hands-on knowledge of construction painting, flooring installation, tile laying, siding, roofing, rebar installation, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and caulking is a plus.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools commonly used in cabinet making and general construction projects.
  • Experience with CNC machinery or other manufacturing technology is advantageous.
  • Ability to estimate project timelines and materials accurately through construction estimating skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling.
  • Additional handyman experience including assembly work or general repairs is beneficial.
