Job Posting – Part Time Operations Associate – Toronto, Ontario

WHO YOU ARE - You are an energetic, highly motivated individual who recognizes this as an opportunity to work in the hockey industry. You are someone with a good understanding of digital platforms and are highly motivated to learn and work in sports.

THE ROLE – You will play a key role in our logistical operations, especially when it comes to shipping, receiving, and managing inventory for our wide range of products. You will spend much of your day on your feet, with a major focus on shipping throughout peak season. We are a small business and rely on everyone stepping up in different areas as necessary.

This position will be part-time with hours based on availability. Our priority is to hire someone to help stretch our operational hours.

Because of this, shifts can be flexible within the working hours from 7am - 10pm during the week and 9am - 5pm on weekends. Our hiring process includes a 3-month probationary contract, after which we will review the fit for both parties and ideally move forward with a long term commitment.

WHAT YOU BRING

● High School Diploma. Many of our staff have university/college degrees; we think this would be a great role for a current

post-secondary student to balance with their studies

● Passion for the game of hockey and interest in hockey products and sticks

● Past experience in warehouse/fulfilment environment is an asset; familiarity with Shopify, Netsuite, or other ecommerce

inventory management platforms

● An open mind and a positive attitude; a willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks (including hands on work).

● Ability to work during our busiest hours (weekday evenings, weekends, especially during hockey season). More shifts can be

available depending on availability

SHIPPING & RECEIVING

● Pick and pack orders for various online platforms, including Shopify, Sideline Swap, Amazon, and eBay

● Follow up with customers as required for shipping & inventory issues

● Manage relationships with our shipping services, couriers, file claims as required

● Maintain organization of shipping area and supplies

● Assist with organization of inventory to allow for an optimal shipping process

● Provide feedback to improve fulfillment process speed and accuracy

● Work with pro stock hockey equipment to identify and accurately inventory inbound items
