Salary range (but not limited to):
47,100 - 57,500Incentive plan

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
About the role
We are looking for a Personal Insurance Advisor to join our National Corporate SWAT Team at BrokerLink!
As a Personal Insurance Advisor on our National SWAT Team, you’ll be primarily responsible for managing underwriting requests, contacting customers, and gathering the information needed to process renewals in a timely manner. You will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to customers nationwide, as well as supporting our communities by assisting with incoming calls when needed.

This hybrid position is available in any of our Ontario offices.
Your work schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What you’ll do here:
- Handle incoming underwriting carrier requests
- Be agile in all aspects of customer service, with a strong focus on technical skills
- Service customers across Canada using all available communication methods to provide a seamless omni-channel experience
- Participate in strategic debrief sessions to highlight operational areas for improvement
- Deploy your skills and expertise to areas of the business that require support, including incoming queue calls when necessary
- Contact underwriters and adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies
- Prepare documentation for insurers; complete client applications; issue insurance certificates; process changes; and review renewals
- Stay current on underwriting rules and workflow processes, and actively participate in training initiatives
- Provide guidance and assistance to the business as required
What you bring to the table:
- Minimum 1-year of P&C personal insurance experience
- Ontario licensed (RIBO/OTL); expected to obtain other provincial licenses once onboarded (licensed across all provinces where BrokerLink operates)
- Exposure to Epic is an asset
- Superior change management skills: agility and the ability to pivot with little notice
- Strong customer focus
- Comfortable working with ever-changing technology
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
