We are currently seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our team. Working with leading edge technologies (Python, JavaScript, Flask, Vue, Docker), you will create intuitive apps to supplement our technical innovations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Create intuitive and responsive web-based user interfaces for both internal use and external customers.

  • Develop new features and improvements to the existing Warehouse Management Systems, dashboards, automated reporting, intranet sites as well as augmenting the company’s proprietary robotic technology.
  • Collaborate with the senior software architects to improve our software development process, including back-end tools to drive improvements to our Continuous Integration process (Docker, Ansible, Gitlab).
  • Communicate with customers and employees to evaluate requests for enhancements to existing programs or develop new ones.
  • Adhere to our company development standards, including our chosen software stack, writing automated tests, and participating in code reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 – 5 years programming and relevant experience.
  • Warehouse/material handling/logistics industry and business development experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a modern JavaScript framework (e.g. Vue/React/Angular) is required.
  • Demonstrated experience with a Linux O/S, Docker, and Git and working knowledge of Oracle database
  • Ability to perform and manage competing priorities in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and creative approach to problem solving and dedicated to continuous improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, to manage and balance both internal and external relationships.
  • Self-driven with ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated ability to apply judgement when making decisions.
  • Ability to travel to other sites/locations, as needed

Working Conditions:

  • Brand new technology centre
  • This job requires working in a refrigerated and freezer environment occasionally.
  • Overtime may be required on occasion.
  • Occasional travel to our other warehouse’s may be required

Compensation and Benefits

  • Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Competitive Salary ($75.000-90.000) actual salary will be based on level of experience.
