We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and dispensing
• Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals, ensuring proper storage and stock levels
• Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and offering guidance under supervision
• Prepare and package medications accurately according to prescriptions
• Maintain accurate records of medication distribution and patient interactions
• Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, health regulations, and privacy standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth pharmacy operations

Requirements

• Prior experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting is highly desirable
• Knowledge of pharmacy procedures, medical terminology, and medication administration processes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
• Certification or training as a pharmacy technician is a plus but not mandatory
• Commitment to patient care and confidentiality
• Ability to pass any required background checks or credential verifications

Pay: $17.00-$21.00 per hour
