Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Duties

  • Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, cleanings, and complex treatments
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
  • Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
  • Manage patient records using dental software such as Dentrix and Epic
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Ensure patient comfort and address their questions or concerns
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/out processes, including duties of a Dental Receptionist
  • Assist with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry as needed
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards

Skills

  • Proficiency with dental software including Dentrix, Epic, and CAD systems
  • Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
