This is a temporary, full-time role for a MI Generalist Sonographer at Port Hardy Hospital (PHH) in Port Hardy on Vancouver Island, BC.

Shift Start Time/End Time: 08:00-16:00

Days Off: Weekends/Stats

What You’ll Do

As a Generalist Sonographer, you will perform a range of general ultrasound examinations and provide high-quality patient care throughout each procedure. You will complete requisitions, forms and reports; prepare and maintain supplies and equipment; monitor patients; operate ultrasound equipment; and prepare and present patient data to the radiologist.

What You’ll Need to Apply

  • Graduation from an approved Ultrasound Technologist Diploma program.
  • Sonography Canada and/or American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification credentials as a Generalist Sonographer.
  • One (1) year recent, related experience in a health care setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Eligible for registration with Sonography Canada.
