THE OPPORTUNITY

The Truck Sales Consultant is an outside sales position. In this role you will be responsible for selling new Class 8 and Medium Duty trucks in an assigned territory. This position is based in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work to achieve sales targets and demonstrate a high level of commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Develop sales opportunities by identifying, researching and contacting prospective customers
  • Gain an understanding of customer priorities and needs and demonstrate how our best-in-class truck makes and models can meet the customer’s requirements
  • Manages and reports on sales action plans on a regular basis
  • Meets planning and productivity goals
  • Understands and works within required sales processes, writes complete sales orders and processes required paperwork in accordance with company policies
  • Works closely with all departments to ensure the customers after sales experience is World’s Best

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • Excellent sales skills, with demonstrated sales experience selling in a business-to-business environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills
  • Proven ability to develop and work a sales action plan and drive to achieve top sales results
  • Ability to negotiate is essential
  • Have a valid Driver’s License and able to travel in your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement included and expenses reimbursable)
  • Must be able to climb into and out of commercial transport vehicles
