Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality patient care and fostering long-term health relationships. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where clinical expertise, patient-centered care, and collaboration are highly valued. The position requires a strong foundation in medical terminology, acute care, pain management, pediatrics, and home care, with experience utilizing electronic health records such as Epic and Cerner systems. Candidates with hospital experience and research background are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive primary healthcare services across diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adult patients
  • Conduct patient examinations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans aligned with best practices
  • Administer medications and oversee medication management in accordance with clinical protocols
  • Perform procedures related to pain management and acute care as needed
  • Collect and analyze patient data to monitor health trends and inform treatment strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including hospital transfers and home care services
  • Document clinical encounters accurately using electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in research initiatives to improve clinical outcomes and contribute to evidence-based practices
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards of practice

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine
  • Proven experience in family medicine or primary care settings; hospital experience is a plus
  • Proficiency in medical terminology, data collection, and medication administration
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Epic and Cerner
  • Strong knowledge of acute care procedures, pain management techniques, pediatrics, and home care services
  • Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to healthcare delivery
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development through research or additional training opportunities
