Full job description

Senior Aesthetic Consultant & Patient Journey Specialist

Arbutus Laser & Skin | Vancouver, BC

Arbutus Laser & Skin is seeking a Senior Aesthetic Consultant & Patient Journey Specialist to join our team.

Aesthetic medicine is about more than treatments and technology, it’s about helping people feel confident, understood, and cared for.

We are looking for someone who builds meaningful relationships, communicates with warmth and clarity, and brings emotional intelligence to every patient interaction.

This is not a traditional sales role.

Our philosophy is simple:

Relationships first. Education first. Trust always.

About the Role:

You will guide patients through their full aesthetic journey from consultation through treatment planning and follow-up, working closely with our physicians and clinical team to design personalized plans aligned with each patient’s goals, lifestyle, and budget.

You will also receive training and mentorship from Carleen Brink of Brink Consulting, focused on consultation skills, patient communication, treatment planning, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

We are committed to supporting the right candidate with the training needed to succeed.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct in-depth aesthetic consultations
  • Create personalized short- and long-term treatment plans
  • Educate patients on neuromodulators, dermal fillers, biostimulators, lasers, energy-based devices, and medical-grade skincare
  • Build long-term patient relationships
  • Provide follow-up after consultations and treatments
  • Coordinate care with physicians and clinical staff
  • Maintain accurate consultation documentation and treatment plans
  • Set clear, realistic expectations and guide informed decision-making
  • Continue expanding your knowledge through ongoing education

Who We’re Looking For

You are:

  • Warm, professional, and confident
  • An excellent listener and communicator
  • Emotionally intelligent and naturally trustworthy
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Passionate about aesthetics and patient care
  • Comfortable educating and guiding rather than using high-pressure sales
  • Motivated to learn and grow
  • A collaborative team player with strong follow-through

Experience in medical aesthetics, healthcare, luxury hospitality, high-end retail, skincare, patient care, or relationship-based sales is an asset.

While experience is valuable, the right person is our priority.

Technical knowledge can be taught.

We value integrity, maturity, compassion, communication skills, and the ability to genuinely connect with people above all else.

Why Arbutus Laser & Skin?

You will join a team committed to clinical excellence, education, innovation, natural results, and exceptional patient care.

You will work alongside experienced physicians and aesthetic professionals while receiving hands-on mentorship from Carleen Brink of Brink Consulting to further develop your consultation and patient journey expertise.

Our goal is for every patient to feel seen, heard, understood, and valued.

This is an opportunity to build a meaningful career in medical aesthetics within a respected Vancouver clinic.

How to Apply:

Please submit your résumé and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the role and why you would be a strong fit for our team.

We are not just hiring an employee, we are looking for someone who will become a trusted part of our team and an important part of our patients’ journeys.

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Dental care
