Full-Time Medical Office Assistant / Billing Clerk

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Medical Office Assistant/Billing Clerk to join our fast-paced, specialist office. If you thrive in a busy environment, enjoy interacting with patients, and excel at multitasking, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Alberta Health (AH) billing and reconciliations
  • Patient reception and front desk duties
  • Scanning, filing, and managing patient records
  • Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  • General administrative and office support

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a medical office setting (must include AH billing)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Experience working with an EMR system (Connect Care or similar)
  • Ability to manage a high volume of patients and tasks efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Assets:

  • Familiarity with Connect Care
  • Training with Indeed AI Enhancetrained considered an asset

Compensation:

  • Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience
