Full job description

Your mission

As a cook you will be responsible for preparing meals for the residents. Under the supervision of the director and the chef, you will collaborate on the development of new menus and the optimal use of food.

Your daily routine

  • Verifies the quality of the ingredients and performs basic preparations for dishes
  • Prepares the ingredients required according to the menus (chop and peel fruits and vegetables, cut the meat, etc.)
  • Monitors the dishes while they are cooking
  • Verifies and prepares plates according to food regulation standards
  • Inspects and ensures the compliance of hygiene regulations of the premises and the equipment used
  • Monitors inventory, products and merchandise
  • Pays particular attention to food allergies and safety guidelines in the kitchen
  • Related tasks : Performs other tasks as required by the immediate supervisor

Your experiences

  • Hold High School diploma or Hold a Cook’s trade certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in institutional cooking
  • Possess excellent organizational and occupational structure and responsible
  • Have the ability to communicate with others and be self-reliant
  • Skills in interpersonal relationships and teamwork
