We are currently looking for a Supervisor to join or Operations team in Kingston, ON.

This role is critical to ensuring efficient operations, maintaining quality standards, and fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. The successful candidate will oversee daily production activities, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities and Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of production staff across multiple divisions.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards throughout all processes.
  • Monitor production schedules and allocate resources to meet operational goals.
  • Conduct quality checks to maintain product standards and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment maintenance, and compliance checks.
  • Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
  • Address and report operational issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the production environment.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food production or a similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and HACCP compliance.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting.
  • Basic proficiency in production metrics and inventory management.
  • Food handler’s certificate required, additional certifications an asset.
