Summary
We’re hiring a Digital Shelf Specialist to lead the management and optimization of Wonderbrands’ product presence across retailer ecommerce platforms and digital properties.
As ecommerce continues to grow, the digital shelf has become the modern equivalent of physical shelf space, influencing how products are discovered, evaluated, and purchased by shoppers. Strong digital shelf execution ensures that Wonderbrands products are visible in search results, presented with high-quality content, and positioned to convert shopper traffic into sales.
This role will be responsible for ensuring Wonderbrands maintains best-in-class digital shelf standards across key retailer platforms, including maintaining accurate product content, optimizing product detail pages (PDPs), and improving organic discoverability.
Reporting to the Media & Digital Lead, the Digital Shelf Specialist will work closely with the Media Operations Specialist, Measurement Analyst, and cross-functional teams to ensure product pages are optimized to support retail media campaigns, product launches, and promotional initiatives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable managing product content across multiple retailer platforms, with a strong understanding of ecommerce fundamentals and digital merchandising principles.

Primary Responsibilities
Digital Shelf Management
- Own and manage the relationship with agencies and the automated platforms for efficient content management and publication.
- Lead the digital shelf online, including PDPs (Product Detail Pages) and Brand Stores, by coordinating with external vendors and internal brand teams to create, collect, organize, improve, and disseminate branded content.
- Communicate with and drive digital shelf best practices with retailers across Canada
- Implement best practices and strategies across all brand copy and images.
- Ratings & Reviews planning and execution (sampling, Ratings & Review Platforms, etc.).
- Lead initial implementation and ongoing maintenance and training related to digital shelf
- Managing PDP content including product images, descriptions, and product attributes.
- Ensuring high-quality product imagery and content are consistently maintained across retailers.
- Identifying opportunities to improve product page quality and shopper experience.
- Ensuring product pages reflect current brand messaging and marketing priorities.
- Optimizing product titles, descriptions, and attributes to improve search discoverability.
- Monitoring and auditing product search rankings across key retailer platforms.
- Identifying keyword opportunities that improve product visibility in retailer search results.
- Supporting alignment between organic search optimization and paid retail media campaigns.
- Monitoring product availability, search placement, and category positioning across retailer platforms.
- Identifying issues impacting product visibility such as missing content, incorrect categorization, or stock availability.
- Tracking competitor activity and identifying opportunities to improve product positioning.
- Supporting efforts to maintain consistent brand representation across digital retail environments.
Content Management & Asset Coordination
- Coordinating product imagery, descriptions, and product information updates across retailer platforms.
- Working with brand teams to ensure digital assets align with brand standards.
- Managing content updates for product launches, new SKUs, and packaging changes.
- Ensuring product listings reflect accurate nutritional information, claims, and regulatory requirements where applicable.
Required Experience
- 2–4+ years of experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or digital marketing.
- Experience managing product listings or digital content across ecommerce platforms.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce product content and digital merchandising principles.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage large volumes of product information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple updates and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business tools used for managing product data and reporting.
- Experience working in CPG, retail, or ecommerce environments.
- Familiarity with retailer ecommerce platforms such as Loblaw, Walmart, Amazon, or Instacart.
- Experience with platforms like Salsify, Profitero, etc.
- Understanding of retail search optimization and product discoverability strategies.
