We are seeking an experienced Professional to join our F&B team as a Bar Manger at a high-end Boutique Hotel in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Bar operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional guest experience, and achieving financial targets.

Prior work experience in downtown Vancouver market is necessary. Ideal candidate should have credible references and relationships in Vancouver Restaurant and Hotel industry. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bar Manager to oversee our bar operations in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and team management, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. As the Bar Manager, you will be responsible for managing bar staff, ensuring high-quality beverage service, and maintaining an inviting atmosphere for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and train bar staff to ensure excellent service and adherence to company standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative drink menus that align with current trends and customer preferences.
  • Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, tracking usage, and minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage pairings for events or special occasions.
  • Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new bar staff as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a bar management or supervisory role within the food industry or hospitality sector.
  • Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail recipes, and beverage trends.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and health regulations relevant to the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and staff.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs.
  • A background in hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory.
