Full job description

Naimark Law Firm is a plaintiff personal injury law firm in Toronto. Our dynamic team of professionals are diligent, dedicated, and diverse! We are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced Law Clerk to handle Tort claims. The Law Clerk will work with a senior lawyer handling high severity files.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Obtain/update all productions and medical records

· Maintain and update client file regularly

· Draft documents for review by the responsible lawyer

· Daily communication with clients and third parties

· Draft and prepare all necessary legal documents such as, Statement of Claims, Motions, Trial Records, etc.

· Preparation for discoveries, mediations and trials in a timely manner

Attributes & Experience:

· Minimum 5 years of personal injury tort experience

· Knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure

· Knowledge of Accident Benefits is a bonus

· Experience working in a fast pace environment running 175+ files

· Ability to work with minimal supervision while working with a team

· Strong technical skills including Microsoft Office, Time Matters and PC Law

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

The position is remote and office attendance is required once per month. In addition, Naimark Law Firm has transitioned to 4 day work weeks!
