Full job description

Executive Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced Regional Hotel Operations Manager to support the Corporate Director of Hotel Operations and General Managers across our British Columbia hotel portfolio.

Based at the Corporate Office in Vancouver, this role will provide practical operational support, conduct regular property visits, follow up on corporate initiatives, and assist General Managers in strengthening hotel performance, guest service, employee engagement, and property standards.

This is not a remote position and requires frequent travel to the hotels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Corporate Director of Hotel Operations with operational priorities, property follow-up, and special projects.
  • Work with General Managers to identify operational challenges, establish action plans, and follow through on agreed priorities.
  • Conduct regular hotel visits and review guestrooms, public areas, housekeeping, maintenance, guest services, and overall property presentation.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores, online reviews, and service concerns, and assist properties in improving the guest experience.
  • Support consistent standards of cleanliness, room condition, maintenance, and operational readiness.
  • Review hotel performance, including labour, payroll, expenses, occupancy, and other key operating results.
  • Support General Managers with employee engagement, leadership development, communication, and accountability.
  • Assist with the implementation of new technology, systems, policies, and Corporate Office initiatives.
  • Work collaboratively with Human Resources, Finance, Revenue Management, Sales, Marketing, and other Corporate Office departments.
  • Provide additional support during management transitions, staffing gaps, significant projects, or periods of increased operational need.
  • Complete other duties and assignments as directed by the Corporate Director of Hotel Operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Five or more years of progressive hotel-management experience.
  • Previous experience as a General Manager, Hotel Manager, Director of Operations, or in a comparable senior operational role.
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, including rooms, housekeeping, front office, maintenance, guest services, and food and beverage.
  • Experience reviewing hotel financial and operational performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to support managers, identify priorities, and ensure effective follow-through.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable working with technology and supporting the implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Able to manage competing priorities and work independently while remaining closely aligned with the Corporate Director of Hotel Operations.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel frequently throughout British Columbia.
