Job Summary
The HCA/Caregiver is a member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Qualicare Homecare BC has immediate openings for Health Care Aides/Caregivers across the entire North Shore region!

Responsibilities
  • Assistance with personal care and hygiene
  • Meal Preparation
  • Light Housekeeping
  • Accompany clients on outings
  • Shopping and errands
  • Medication Assist / Reminders
  • Ambulation and transporting of clients
  • Provide companionship to clients
  • Ability to follow care-plan
  • Documentation / Charting
Qualifications
  • Must reside on the North Shore or be fully willing and able to reliably commute to shifts across North Vancouver and West Vancouver
  • Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
  • Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
  • CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to travel around North Vancouver and West Vancouver
  • Access to Internet / smart phone with data
