Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and efficient workflow. This role requires strong leadership skills, a solid background in automotive repair, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing service staff, coordinating repairs, and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Location: Bradford West Gwillimbury, ON

Annual salary: $90,000-$120,000 (Based on experience , skill and qualification)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the service department team to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  • Oversee all aspects of service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to assist with diagnostics and repairs when necessary.
  • Implement upselling strategies to promote additional services and products to customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of service transactions, including cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with dealership management to develop strategies for improving service operations and increasing sales.
  • Train and mentor staff on best practices in automotive repair and customer interaction.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an automotive repair environment, preferably within a dealership setting.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose vehicle issues effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service with a focus on building relationships and enhancing customer loyalty.
  • Familiarity with upselling techniques and sales strategies in a service context is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
