Western Canada | Fall Turnaround Season | 2–3 Month Projects


Kinetic Safety is hiring experienced HSE Advisors to support upcoming turnaround and industrial projects throughout Western Canada this fall.


We're looking for experienced safety professionals who thrive in the field, enjoy working alongside operations, and are available for project-based assignments for the Fall Turnaround season.


Responsibilities

  • Promote a positive, proactive safety culture with crews, supervisors, contractors, and clients.
  • Provide on-site safety leadership and support throughout daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety legislation, client requirements, and company policies.
  • Identify hazards, address unsafe conditions and behaviours, and recommend practical corrective actions.
  • Participate in planning activities to help integrate safety into the work before it begins.
  • Complete worksite inspections and audits while documenting observations and follow-up items.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
  • Facilitate or participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and other site communications.
  • Keep current on applicable legislation and industry best practices.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a Safety Advisor or similar role.
  • Experience supporting oil & gas, industrial, civil, or plant operations is preferred.
  • NCSO, CRSP, or an Occupational Health & Safety Certificate/Diploma.
  • Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid/CPR, and CSO certifications.
  • Valid driver's licence with a clean abstract.
  • Strong understanding of Alberta OH&S legislation and industry safety standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and positively influence field personnel.
  • Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and common workplace technology.
  • Willing to travel throughout Western Canada, work camp rotations, and perform duties outdoors in varying conditions.
