Physiotherapy Assistant/ Occupational Therapy Assistant (PTA/OTA)

Home Care Position – Part-Time - Kingston

We are looking for a PTA/OTA Rehabilitation Assistant to join our team in the Kingston and surrounding area.

What you will do?

Under the supervision of the therapist interventions may include:

  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Functional mobility and transfer training
  • Home Exercise Programs (HEP) to improve balance, strength and ROM for function
  • Home safety, falls prevention
  • Training to progress independence

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate of a Physiotherapy /Occupational Therapist Assistant program (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong clinical skills and client-centred approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
