- Prepare students to communicate professionally with patients, families, healthcare professionals, colleagues, and external organizations.
- Explain technical and administrative concepts clearly and adapt instructional approaches to accommodate different learning needs.
- Provide students with appropriate academic guidance, encouragement, and support.
- Monitor attendance, participation, academic progress, and assignment completion.
- Grade assignments and assessments accurately and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Maintain complete and up-to-date attendance, grade, and student progress records.
- Identify students who may be struggling and communicate concerns promptly to the appropriate college staff.
- Support students in developing practical workplace skills and professional readiness.
- Respond to student and administrative communications in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
- Collaborate closely with academic, administrative, and student-support team members.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, program reviews, and other college activities as required.
- Follow all college policies, academic requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Remain current with healthcare administration practices, technology, privacy requirements, and industry expectations.
Required Qualifications

- Experience teaching synchronous online or hybrid courses.
- Experience supporting newcomers to Canada, English-language learners, or students requiring additional academic guidance.
