Join Our Team – Vancouver Island Applicants Only | No Experience Required!

We are looking for motivated, hardworking individuals who want to build a long-term career in the environmental remediation industry. This position is ideal for people with little or no experience who are eager to learn—we'll train you from the ground up. Starting pay for this position is based on your skills and experience. We offer competitive wages with a clear path for advancement, regular wage increases based on your training and knowledge, and opportunities to grow your career as you develop your skills.

Most of our jobs are indoors so you won't have to work in the blazing sun or pouring rain and most of what we even do here is simply cleaning the spaces we are working in so anyone can learn to do it! Our projects typically last 1-5 days, so you will be seeing various parts of this beautiful area we live in as you build a variety of new skills.

At Hazpro it comes down to merit, not seniority or playing favorites like a lot of workplaces. If you can get the job done and get along with others, you will move up as quickly as you desire. After 6 months we will enroll you in our extended medical, dental, and vision plan (the company pays for 100% of the team's benefits plus offers weekly bonuses).

Compensation Packet Includes

  • Wage range $21.00-$30.00 per hour based on skills and experience
  • If you start at $21.00 there is a clear path on how you get to $30.00 per hour
  • Payday every Friday
  • Bonuses are paid out every 3 months and reviewed at our weekly crew meetings for transparency
  • We encourage our team to design their own career with us, let us know what works best for you
  • Regular wage increases in relation to your training and knowledge of our unique industry (no timeline)
  • Extended medical, dental, and vision - we pay the cost of the package for everyone after 6 months

Hazpro maintains highly specialized crew and equipment that is routinely dispatched anywhere from Sooke to Saltspring.

Physical Demands:

Must be capable of lifting, carrying, able-bodied, and willing to work in Tyvek suits and masks as well as interested in working with others who have positive attitudes. We have a good time and want you too as well.

Other than boots we supply everything you'll need to build a new carrier.
