Key Responsibilities
Food Production
- Assist with high-volume meal preparation.
- Cook and portion hot food items according to standardized recipes.
- Organize, weigh, and count food ingredients.
- Follow all food safety regulations and operational guidelines.
- Ensure all food meets quality and safety standards, promptly reporting any issues to the Quality Assurance team and Production Manager.
- Contribute to team performance metrics and participate in team meetings.
- Support production tasks related to meal preparation for the following day.
- Other duties as required
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Ensure fridges and freezers remain well-stocked and orderly.
- Properly sort and dispose of kitchen waste in an organized manner.
- Assist with waste removal as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment.
Required Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food production environment is preferred.
- Strong work ethic – dedicated, reliable, and eager to get the job done right.
- Team player – works well in a collaborative environment.
- Punctual and dependable – maintains a strong attendance record.
- Physical stamina – able to stand for an entire 8-hour shift and lift up to 25kg repeatedly.
- Attention to cleanliness – maintains high hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Basic English proficiency – ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Math skills – capable of performing basic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) for portioning and measurements.
- First Aid Training Certification
