Housekeeper Job Description:

The Housekeeper is a member of the Quality Control team, which ensures Ste. Anne’s facilities and guest suites are clean, sanitary and hygienic on a consistent basis. This is an absolutely essential role to play in ensuring Ste. Anne’s provides a relaxing atmosphere to guests, in accordance with Four-Diamond hotel standards. As Ste. Anne’s consists of the Main Inn and several offsites, the Housekeeper is on their feet, walking, and driving frequently. They will perform a wide variety of physical movements and activities to fulfill the duties of their role.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the common areas of the spa in the evenings.
  • Dusting and wiping down surfaces.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Removing and/or organizing garbage and recycling.
  • Replacing and stocking supplies.
  • Other cleaning duties, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Able to frequently kneel, squat and twist.
  • Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
  • Able to climb staircases, step-tools and ladders as required.
  • Able to work weekends, evenings or holidays as required.

Qualifications:

  • A valid G Driver's License.
  • 1 year of cleaning experience is preferred.
