We are seeking a talented and Experienced Financial Aid Officer to join our team and help our students secure the funding they need for their education. If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of career college students and have experience with Canadian Provincial Student Loans, National Loans, and Third-Party Funders, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in understanding their financial aid options and eligibility.
  • Provide guidance on the application process for Canadian Provincial Student Loans and National Loans.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with third-party funders to ensure students have access to various funding sources.
  • Stay updated on changes in financial aid regulations and policies.
  • Collaborate with other college departments to streamline financial aid processes.
  • Maintain accurate student records related to financial aid.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Financial Aid Officer.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian Provincial Student Loans and National Loans.
  • Experience working with Third-Party Funders is a significant asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to empathize and work effectively with diverse student populations.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume of students.
  • Ability to handle a high-volume of phone calls.
