Full job description

  • Fulfilling orders received from the Logistic Coordinator, Production Manager and Shipping/Receiving Supervisor;
  • Physically receive all deliveries to TCF;
  • Ensure that food safety is not compromised while loading, unloading and storage practices;
  • Load trucks for delivery as required;
  • Aid in/maintain the organization of product into the storage freezer
  • Adhere to timing schedule set in place by the Logistics Coordinator, Production Manager and/or Supervisor
  • Timely and accurately picking items/products from bill of lading
  • Review and retain knowledge of inventory changes of product
  • Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work as a team effectively
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a cold environment (-18 degrees)
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to fluctuating work requirements
  • Ability to multi-task and remain standing or moving for long periods of time
  • Prior experience in shipping/receiving would be an asset
  • Prior experience in food processing preferred
  • Participate as an active member of the shipping/receiving team
  • Manual and physical labour of moving products
