The main responsibilities include organizing materials, following FIFO rotation, replenishing production supplies, unloading and splitting shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness.

Additionally, when required, this position may also support order picking, preparing pallets for outbound deliveries.
However, the primary focus remains on the warehouse duties described below.

This role combines forklift operation with hands-on physical warehouse work.

  • Keep warehouse shelves, racks, and staging areas fully organized and labeled.
  • Maintain a clean and efficient warehouse layout with clear pathways.

Replenishment & Production Support

  • Replenish raw materials and supplies so production teams always have accessible stock.
  • Receive the daily material list from the Plant Manager and stage all required supplies for next-day production.
  • Monitor stock levels and alert supervisors when items are running low (supporting the logistics software).
  • Return unused materials to their proper shelves at the end of each shift.

Order Picking (Occasional Support)

  • When required, support the warehouse by acting as a picker.
  • Prepare accurate pallets for customer orders following pick lists and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure correct quantities, proper labeling, and safe pallet stacking.
  • Communicate with the office or logistics team if there are discrepancies or missing items.

Cleaning & Workspace Maintenance

  • Remove empty bags, boxes, packaging waste, and unused materials from the warehouse floor.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working area at all times.
  • Follow all warehouse safety and hygiene procedures.

Communication & Teamwork

  • Follow instructions from the Plant Manager.
  • Communicate effectively about shortages, damaged goods, or warehouse issues.
  • Work collaboratively with production and logistics teams.

Requirements

Education & Work Eligibility

  • High School Diploma (proof required)
  • Legally entitled to work full-time in Canada
