Full job description

UNITY Fitness Harbourfront (joinunity.ca), a 45,000 sq. ft. fitness facility in the heart of the Sugar Wharf community in downtown Toronto, is recruiting a part time Media Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be deeply passionate about fitness and wellness, with a strong commitment to growing the facility's brand through in house video production and still photography for both hi-fi and low-fi mediums.

Roles

  • Hi-Fi Video Production: Plan, create, shoot and deliver polished video content for digital screens, sales materials, promotional material and social media polished content, following brand standards and guidelines.
  • Still Photography creation: Capturing still photography from video shoots to be used for digital ads, in club marketing materials and online promotions.
  • Lo-Fi Video Production: Plan, create,shoot, edit and post social media content with unique style and interactive content for various social media outlets, following brand standards and guidelines.
  • Content Calendar: Working with marketing team, GM, department heads and operations director to plan, organize and create a monthly content calendar with execution plan.
  • Event Coverage:Covering in-club events with hi-fi and low-fi elements with video and still photography assets for various mediums.
  • Social Media Moderating: Being the lead for social media posting, commenting, re-posting, DM responding and all things related to the social media handles.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in content creation
  • 3+ years of experience in hi-fi video production
  • Own camera/gear required for media creation
  • Proven reel/portfolio of previous work
  • MUST be able to deliver on tight deadlines
  • MUST have strong communication skills and understand being part of a large team

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
