Position Summary:
The Project Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful execution of operational and capital projects at Guelph General Hospital. Working under the direction of the Project Manager, this role focuses on the administrative and logistical aspects of project delivery.
The Project Coordinator ensures smooth day-to-day operations by managing documentation, coordinating resources, tracking progress, and facilitating communication among stakeholders.
The coordinator’s responsibilities also include managing space inventory, coordinating move planning, and supporting temporary space logistics components in healthcare redevelopment projects.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Diploma specializing in Office Administration or equivalent.
- 3 years of administrative, project coordination, business process/analysis, and data analysis experience or equivalent, ideally in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with PMI principles and project lifecycle methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Experience with document management systems and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of healthcare facility operations or experience in a healthcare environment is an asset.
- Comprehensive knowledge of project management principles
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and tools such as AutoCAD, MS Office Suite, and MS Visio.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner as well as collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
