Full job description

Toronto Event Centre / Grand Bizarre is currently seeking an experienced Floor Manager to join our nightlife operations team.

The ideal candidate must have previous nightlife, nightclub, lounge, or high-volume hospitality management experience and be confident overseeing fast-paced evening operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing floor operations throughout the night
  • Managing and supporting servers, hostesses, bussers, and floor staff
  • Ensuring excellent guest service and addressing guest concerns professionally
  • Coordinating with security, VIP, bar, front door, and management teams
  • Monitoring table service, guest flow, and overall floor organization
  • Ensuring staff remain on task and follow venue policies and service standards
  • Assisting with opening, closing, and end-of-night procedures
  • Handling operational issues quickly and professionally in a high-volume environment

Requirements:

  • Previous nightlife management experience is required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of hospitality and guest service
  • Must be available to work late nights and weekends
  • Smart Serve certification is an asset
