General Labour

The Steel Centre, a division of Misteelco Inc.

Misteelco Inc has been servicing Southwestern Ontario with structural metals since 1985. The availability of a full line of metal products and a wide range of value-added processing options at a fair price makes Misteelco Inc an attractive one stop shop. We pride ourselves on providing each customer with exceptional service and value.

The Steel Centre is looking for motivated workers to join our team in St. Thomas. It will be full time, straight shifts, Monday to Friday.

Requirements:

Ability to read tape measure and have close attention to detail.

Steel knowledge or experience would be an asset but not a requirement

Operation of various equipment (will train)

Hand torch experience preferred

To be able to perform repetitive actions and standing for long periods of time throughout the day is required

Moving/lifting/stacking and banding various steel products of varying weight (cranes for heavy lifting - will train)

Provide assistance to other co-workers as required to ensure orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Cleaning/Maintaining equipment & work area for efficiency and SAFETY!

Adhering to all workplace policies and ISO procedures

· Good communication skills, multi-tasking skills and can meet deadlines

· Dedicated, hardworking and very detail-oriented

· Flexible regarding start/end times (if needed)

· Dependable and has positive attitude.

· Self-motivated and safety conscious
