What You’ll Do:
- Previous food service industry experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing attitude.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well as part of a team.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and card transactions.
- Ability to take customer orders, process payments, provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience, and assist with basic food preparation.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers.
- Must meet the minimum provincial legal employment age (proof of age or a work permit may be required if hired).
- Demonstrates the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform regular job functions.
Work Environment:
- Primarily an indoor environment with occasional outdoor tasks.
- Occasionally lift, move, carry, and stack cartons up to 50 pounds from various heights.
- Experience frequent exposure to fluctuating temperatures in areas such as coolers, freezers, and cooking sections.
- Involves standing and walking for extended periods throughout the shift without frequent rest periods.
- Frequent movements such as bending, wiping, sweeping, mopping, wrapping, and squeezing.
- Regularly reaching overhead, forward, and underneath shelves, counters, tables, and kitchen equipment.
- Frequent squatting or stooping to access items on low shelves or the floor.
- Occasional use of stools or ladders to reach items stored on higher shelves.
- Plays a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and preparing our signature subs.
