Urban Dining Group is a Toronto owned company that operates 4 different brands. We are looking for a dynamic and hands on GM to lead our Hey Lucy’s concept....

Located in Toronto’s trendy King West Entertainment District, Hey Lucy’s is a casual Italian restaurant and bar. Serving hand-stretched wood oven pizza and Italian favorites since 1997.

We have an extensive martini, cocktail and wine menu. Known locally for our Wednesday night martini feature.

Two floors, two patios, roof top patio, private dining room. Directly across from the front doors of the TIFF Bell lightbox.

We require a seasoned General Manager that will motivate and energize staff on every shift. You will need to have drive and a service-based mindset to make decisions in the best interest of the restaurant.

You understand labor, food and liquor cost and know how you can help with controlling each daily. Ideally you have 4+ years of solid GM experience in a high volume and fast paced environment.

Must haves:

Ability to uphold high standards in food quality, guest service and fiscal management

Able to train and coach all staff to ensure you are delivering great food and service to each guest

Knowledge of how to increase sales vial social and local marketing initiatives

Strong knowledge with Inventories and Labor control

Successful long term stays (4+ years) at previous employment

AGM tenure of 4+ years would be considered as GM candidate.

Competitive salary, 5 day work week, 2 weeks vacation and benefit package options available. Please do not apply at the restaurant.

The ideal candidate must live in the downtown area of the city.
