Job Summary
macbeeners is seeking a reliable and professional Rural Delivery/Service Driver to join our team! This role involves delivering goods and providing exceptional customer service in rural areas, ensuring timely and safe transportation of products. This position will require working one or two nights away per week. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivery operations, warehouse operations, and possess strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members, however a great attitude is the main prerequisite!!

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery trucks and service vehicles across designated rural route
  • Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers, verifying orders and obtaining signatures when required
  • Assist with warehouse organization, inventory management, and delivery with items
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues professionally while having a great positive attitude
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety inspections before and after routes
  • Communicate effectively with staff and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered

Skills

  • Experience in warehouse operations and familiarity with moving heavy items safely
  • Valid commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Strong positive customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during deliveries and warehouse tasks
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
