We are recruiting on behalf of a growing electronics manufacturing client in Lacombe, Alberta for an experienced Customer Service & Sales Specialist.

This is a business-to-business role supporting established customer accounts in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with professional and commercial customers, coordinating orders, managing account requirements, and working closely with production and internal teams to ensure commitments are met.

Previous B2B customer service, account management, inside sales, or sales support experience is essential for this position.

What You’ll Do

B2B Customer & Account Support

  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned business-to-business customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding orders, availability, timelines, and account requirements.
  • Provide proactive updates and resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
  • Identify customer needs and potential sales or account-growth opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer, order, and account information within the ERP system.

Order Coordination & Manufacturing Support

  • Coordinate customer orders from receipt through production planning and delivery.
  • Work closely with production, planning, sales, and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are understood and achieved.
  • Monitor order status, lead times, and delivery commitments.
  • Communicate changes, delays, or potential issues before they become customer concerns.
  • Support forecasting and demand-planning activities.

Sales & Administrative Support

  • Prepare and maintain customer, sales, and order-related reports.
  • Support quotations, documentation, data entry, and other sales administration.
  • Maintain accurate records across multiple systems and databases.
  • Assist the sales and operations teams with day-to-day commercial activities.

What We’re Looking For

This position is best suited to someone who understands the expectations of working with business customers in a professional B2B environment and can balance customer service with commercial and operational priorities.

Essential Qualifications

  • Previous B2B customer service, inside sales, account coordination, account management, or sales support experience.
  • Experience communicating directly with business customers regarding orders, products, timelines, or service requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and competing priorities.
  • Confidence working with order information, reports, spreadsheets, and business documentation.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team.
  • Professional, responsive, and solutions-focused approach to customer service.

Strong Assets

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics, industrial products, distribution, or another technical B2B environment.
  • Experience working with ERP or order-management systems.
  • SAP experience is an asset; candidates with other ERP experience and the ability to learn SAP will also be considered.
  • Experience supporting forecasting, production planning, inventory, or supply-chain activities.
