With over 40 years delivering expedited transportation services across North America, Apple Express Courier Ltd. provides our customers with strategic transportation and logistics services through the utilization of our people’s skills, processes and technology.

We are seeking energetic and motivated Independent Contractors with their own vehicle to join our team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional customer support.

Currently we are looking for Drivers to support Peak Season, with the opportunity to continue with us after Peak is over.

We are looking for drivers that can support part time – full time – weekends only.

Requirements:

· G or G2 License (or equivalent, for other provinces)

· As an Independent Contractor you will be using your own vehicle. (Van, SUV, Minivan or Sedan)

· Cell phone required (with GPS).

· Clear criminal record.

· Clean drivers abstract.

· Good knowledge of local geographical area.

· Customer service focus, patience and punctuality.

· Effective communication skills.

· Able to speak, read and write in English.

  • Monday through Sunday deliveries
  • To deliver door to door - Pay is per parcel
  • Route assigned daily – Edmonton area, Surrounding area, downtown
  • Drivers will represent our company in a professional manner to provide complete customer satisfaction.
  • Must possess customer service excellence and adhere to safety requirements.
  • Ensure open communication with Dispatchers & Client Care

Requirements:

  • Pristinely maintained and clean vehicle Minivan/SUV/Van/Sedan
  • Must have minimum 2 years delivery experience.
  • Valid professional driver’s license > 2 years minimal experience required.
  • Clean Police background check required, done within the 6 months
  • 3 years uncertified_ Clean driving record (_Abstract) to be submitted prior to hire done within the last 6 months
  • Possess a Smart Phone
  • Must be text savvy
  • Must respond to Dispatch & Client Care – promptly
  • Great attitude and strong work ethic
  • Professional, responsible, friendly conduct
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
