Nationally, it's a growth culture. Making moves every year to grow at double-digit kind of pace. And there's an inclusive culture, having things like monthly newsletter to keep everyone inside the loop on how stuff's going.

Locally, the sales and distribution departments don't get along so well. Almost like conflicts of interest, sales departments want to serve customers as well as they can; warehouses want to serve their operations as well as they can which often doesn't align with serving customers.

The way it's highly cyclical. More than half the year's sales occur over a 2 month period around the first snowfall. Those 2 months are strenuous. Long hours going at turbo speed.

Tolerating admin making flawed decisions because they think they know warehouse work better than people on the floor actually doing the work for years.

Upper level management that oversees warehouses be obliged to perform actual warehouse work a minimum of 400 hrs per year. Because without that experience they make seriously flawed decisions sometimes. They don't understanding all the different ways their decisions affect workers. Three of our best workers resigned this year because of 2 specific poor decisions upper level management imposed on our warehouse.

1) They're a medium size company, so you don't have to worry about stuff small businesses try to do like expect you to work unpaid hours, not pay overtime, etc.
2) Growing at a good pace, so long-term prospects look good
3) Nationwide, new opportunities get posted every week or two. Mind you, according to their own report they hire from outside twice as often as promoting from within.
4) Lots of OT during the busy seasons if you're open to working extra hours for extra pay
