Emergency and Contents Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday to Friday 8-Hour Shifts

First General is looking for an outgoing, reliable, and detailed orientated individual to fill our Emergency and Contents Manger position.
You will be responsible for monitoring, directing and expediting emergency and content services. It will be your responsibility to meet all emergency key performance indicators required to ensure First General Services provide excellent customer service to our clients. It requires a unique combination of strong operational leadership, restoration expertise, people leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Proven Job Management (PSA & PSA Web), Docusketch, Encircle, Xactimate and XactAnalysis are considered an asset.
We are looking for individuals that are highly organized, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a willingness to adapt and change to the needs of clients and insurance companies.
This position will provide a wide range of responsibilities and provide support in many areas that vary in nature and urgency.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Manage several projects, employees, and sub-contractors
· Manage emergency and content daily operations
· Manage asbestos and mold mitigation
· Ordering consumables for warehouse
· Ensure warehouse is clean and organized
· Assist project managers with day-to-day operations (mold, asbestos, content and emergency)
· Ongoing monitoring of emergency processes to maximize efficiency
· Maximizing KPI for each insurance partner
Qualifications:
· Experience in restoration in project management or supervisory position
· Work well in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
· Understanding of restoration best practices and SLA's
· Knowledge of restoration techniques including Water Damage, Fire Damage, Storm Damage and Asbestos Abatement
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills
· Great analytical and problem-solving skills under pressure
· Team player and leader
· Must have a valid driver's license
· Proficient in Xactimate, PSA and Encircle
· IICRC certification is an asset
Key Responsibilities:
· Coordinate staff, vehicles, and supplies for pack out, shifts
· Coordinate and delegate temporary staff to various jobsites
· Train new team members on administrative processes such as timesheet completion and form documentation.
· Review and execute tasks from Project Managers
· Communicate job updates, concerns, and issues clearly with Project Managers
· Delegate emergency content job tasks such as packing, shifting, cleaning, and disposals
· Coordinate storage pods to jobsites and/or storage facilities to store content from various jobsites
· Assist in coordinating emergency technicians for emergency claim response
· Monitor and follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with insurance industry standards
· Ensure tools, equipment, and PPE are properly maintained and used.
· Ensure all necessary forms and reports are completed accurately and on time.
· Maintain a clean driver’s abstract and drive company vehicles when required.
· Stay current on updates to internal policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
· Organize and coordinate internal and external training programs.
· Ordering of supplies and equipment to assist in day-to-day activities
· Assist with vehicle maintenance and fleet tracking
· Support team operations by taking on additional tasks as needed to ensure overall project success.
Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and delegate temporary staff to various jobsites
· Train new team members on administrative processes such as timesheet completion and form documentation.
· Review and execute tasks from Project Managers

· Delegate emergency job tasks such as packing, tear-outs, removals, equipment setup, and cleaning.
· Assist in coordinating content shifting, removal and processing
· Monitor and record psychrometric data according to IICRC standards.
· Monitor and follow Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance with insurance industry standards
· Ensure tools, equipment, and PPE are properly maintained and used.
· Ensure all necessary forms and reports are completed accurately and on time.
· Maintain a clean driver’s abstract and drive company vehicles when required.
· Stay current on updates to internal policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
· Organize and coordinate internal and external training programs.

· Exceptional organizational and time management skills; able to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
· Proficient in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
· Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Familiarity with XactAnalysis and Xactimate, Proven Job Management, Encircle, Docusketch, Ginger MDM, Timecamp is an asset
