As we prepare to launch our first stores, we're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our founding team and help bring the HANK. experience to life from day one.

The Opportunity

This role is about more than driving sales. It's about helping build a culture.

You'll work alongside the Store Manager to create an environment where guests feel welcomed, understood, and confident in their choices. You'll help lead a team that values thoughtful service, genuine relationships, and attention to detail. You'll be a leader on the floor, a coach behind the scenes, and an important contributor to the growth of a new Canadian retail brand.

What You'll Do

You'll help lead the daily operation of the store while supporting sales performance, team development, and exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include:

● Supporting sales, profitability, and the philosophy of the brand to deliver a distinct guest experience

● Leading by example through elevated service, styling guidance, and relationship building

● Coaching, developing, and motivating team members

● Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and training

● Creating a welcoming, service-first culture that reflects the HANK. philosophy

● Maintaining exceptional visual presentation and merchandising standards

● Supporting inventory management and operational excellence

● Monitoring business performance and helping execute plans to drive results

● Acting as Manager-on-Duty when the Store Manager is unavailable

● Supporting local events, partnerships, and community initiatives

● Ensuring compliance with company policies and operating standards

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who understands that confidence doesn't need to be loud. Someone who takes pride in helping others feel comfortable, capable, and confident. Someone who believes details matter.

Qualifications include:

● 3–5+ years of leadership experience in premium, luxury, or specialty retail

● A passion for menswear, styling, and exceptional guest experiences

● Proven success leading teams and driving business performance

● Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills

● Excellent operational and execution capabilities

● The ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment

● Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

● Premium or luxury clientele experience is considered an asset

Compensation:

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000-$75,000 annually plus eligibility for performance -based incentives . Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
