Mackenzie Health is seeking an experienced individual to play a key lead role in this ERP project, focusing on providing leadership, guidance, and expertise in organizational change management.
This role is focused on the people side of change. You will be responsible for developing, planning, and executing change interventions and strategies to ensure that Mackenzie Health employees at all levels are equipped to manage the necessary changes needed to meet the ERP objectives. You will also be responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of change management efforts for the program implementation.
This pivotal role will require a seasoned change management professional who has a wealth of experience integrating change management methodologies, developing, and implementing organizational change management strategies and plans (engagement, communications, benefits planning, change management, team member enablement, and training) to ensure a successful transition and adoption of the new technology enabled processes. The OCM Lead is a highly motivated individual who will play a critical role in the overall success of the ERP implementation, by collaborating closely with project team members, business process owners, leaders, and other stakeholders, you will navigate the complexities of organizational change to facilitate a smooth and effective transformation. You will provide planning, support, and recommendations to improve operational effectiveness and tracks achievement of objectives and KPIs.

The ERP project is a pillar of enabling exemplary corporate services functions which will provide a backbone of support for the entire Hospital. These services play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective use of resources, to enable high quality care, and ensuring Mackenzie Health complies with ever-changing regulations. Corporate services transformation is at the forefront of the organization’s priorities to create a more agile, responsive, and efficient system.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership and management efforts including managing change management resources. An innovative thinker who, while working in a matrix environment, assigns tasks, identifies, tracks, and removes blockers (risks, issues). Ensures sufficient resourcing is available to complete tasks. Escalates blockers as appropriate.
- Leads the development of an Organizational Change Management Strategy and Organizational Change management plans. The strategies and plans will encompass all facets of organizational change management including change management, engagement, communications, benefits realization, team member enablement, and training.
- Leveraging your change management expertise and the existing program methodology, create and deploy a change management methodology including change management standards and templates.
- Champions and supports communications, change management, engagement, benefits realization, and knowledge transfer / training across the program:
o Oversees change readiness, change impact assessments, change networks, reinforcement mechanisms, and other change plan items.
o Works with the ERP team to determine training needs and supports the design and delivery of training (and training materials) for the project.
o Works with the ERP team, and the vendor, to identify knowledge transfer recipients, and ensures that knowledge transfer plans are created, and orchestrated.
o Benefit Realization: through your work with the ERP team, and leadership, you will create KPIs for the program and a means of tracking program success.
o Responsible for communications and campaigns, program branding, team website development (with assistance).
o Engages stakeholders across all levels, functions, and sites to understand concerns, gather feedback, and secure buy-in for the program. - Acts as a visible coach to functional leads, technical leads, business process owners, change champions, vendors, and other stakeholders to drive the adoption of change initiatives.
- Supports the ongoing decision-making and adherence to the program timelines.
- As assigned: creates and/or reviews and/or approves program deliverables. Ensures deliverables are high quality and aligned with program standards. Resolves any issues related to deliverable completion and/or escalates appropriately.
- Provides updates to the Director ERP Implementation & Transformation and community infrastructure regarding deliverable / task / sprint completion levels.
- Continually seeks opportunities to increase stakeholder satisfaction and strengthen stakeholder and vendor relationships by:
o Developing and promoting a collaborative working environment with staff through strong positive working relationships; and
o Fostering and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors - Adopts a “one team” approach:
o Works cross-functionally and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to ensure the program is successful.
o Ensures that work is done collaboratively. Ensures workshops have appropriate team members and stakeholders. - Works with their team members and the Director ERP Implementation & Transformation to ensure deliverables are completed, KPIs are met, and communications are ongoing.
- Participates in any required procurement which may include RFPs, quotes etc.
- Demonstrates a commitment to efficiency and continuous improvement through innovation and best practices during and post-implementation.
What must you have?
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Psychology, or related combination of education & experience.
- 5+ years of related experience delivering change management programs in complex environments.

- Thorough knowledge in communication best practices and approaches.
- Evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills, including above average writing skills, for working with individuals and teams at all levels of an organization.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive initiatives in a dynamic organizational environment.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and effectively juggle competing priorities while managing stakeholder expectation.

- Familiarity with Change Management tools and change management software (video editors, analytics, surveying software (e.g. Qualtrics), change management software etc.) is considered an asset.
- Experience delivering change management for an ERP is considered an asset.
