  • Perform reception duties with warmth and professionalism
  • Support medical staff with scheduling, paperwork, travel coordination, and medical records
  • Organize community health events and support service providers
  • Maintain medical office supplies and assist with petty cash and billing
  • Help manage software systems and train staff on procedures

What We're Looking For:

  • Medical Office Assistant Certificate (required)
  • 5+ years in administrative roles, with 2+ in a medical office setting
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
  • Comfort using tools like Microsoft Office, OSCAR, and Care Connect
  • Cultural sensitivity and an understanding of Indigenous communities and governance
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently under pressure
  • First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, or Non-Violent Crisis Intervention certification
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities
  • Familiarity with health benefits forms, reimbursement, and clinic coordination

Why Join K’ómoks First Nation?

  • Be part of a passionate, values-driven team
  • Make a tangible difference in the lives of K’ómoks members
  • Engage in diverse tasks where every day is different
  • Work in a supportive and inclusive workplace culture
